Description: IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS INFORMATIONAL AND FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AND A FUTURE SOLICITATION MAY OR MAY NOT BE ISSUED. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS RFI AT ANY TIME. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS INCURRED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROCESS. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IS AT THE VENDOR ™S EXPENSE. The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify qualified small businesses for a Firm-Fixed price contract for Phytoremediation and or brush clearing as described in the attached statement of work. The work site is at the Naval Station Newport, Newport, Rhode Island. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether a further set-aside acquisition in lieu of a small business only set aside is in the Government ™s best interest. The government intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Priced IDIQ Services Contract. The NAICS code is 561730. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be for a period of performance of thirty (30) days or less. A response to this sources sought synopsis will not be considered an adequate response to any forth coming solicitation announcement. However, information gathered through this Market Research/RFI may significantly influence RFQ / RFP development. A response to this sources sought synopsis will not result in your firm ™s name being added to a plan holder ™s list to receive a copy of a solicitation. There is no solicitation available at this time. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested qualified firms must submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten (10) pages in length, single-spaced, using 12-point Times New Roman font with one inch margins on standard 8 Ă‚ ˝ by 11-inch paper demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. This documentation shall address the following: (1) Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number and Cage Code and current status of the small business classification. (2) Relevant Experience within the last five years, including any contract number and Government/Agency or firm point of contact (POC) and current telephone number and email address for the POC. Also, identify if you were a subcontractor and the work you actually performed as the sub-contractor. Company sales brochures or marketing packages will not be considered. The preferred electronic format of documents is Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat. Answers to questions about this RFI will be made available to all responders. The response to this RFI is due December 4th, 2015 at 3:00 PM local time via email. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will not provide a debriefing on the results of the survey. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended. Points of contact listed may be contacted for purpose of verifying performance.
