DELIVERY SCHEDULE: 2 Coldmass Assemblies delivered on May 1, 2016 (one to Fermilab and one to JLAB) 2 Coldmass Assemblies delivered on July 1, 2016 (one to Fermilab and one to JLAB) 2 Coldmass Assemblies delivered on September 1, 2016 (one to Fermilab and one to JLAB) 27 pieces - These will be delivered as follows: 13 to Fermilab, 14 to JLAB. Please deliver 2 per month (one each to Fermilab and JLAB) starting September 2016. THE SELECTION (for both the 6 each & 27 each) WILL INCLUDE EVALUATION CRITERIA IN DECENDING ORDER OF IMPORTANCE: QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN DELIVERY SCHEDULE PAST EXPERIENCE OF SIMILAR ITEMS INFRASTRUCTURE CAPABILITIES MANUFACTURING PLAN PERSONNEL EXPERIENCE REMEMBER, THE MORE INFORMATION SUPPLIED, THE MORE THOROUGH YOUR EVALUATION WILL BE. FOR BOTH LINE ITEMS (6 EACH AND 27 EACH) OFFERERS SHALL PROVIDE A DETAILED PROGRESS PAYMENT SCHEDULE WITH MILESTONE AND AMOUNT CLEARLY CALLED OUT. FOR THE 27 EACH, THIS IS A PHASE-FUNDED PROCUREMENT WITH APPROXIMATELY 30% OF THE TOTAL PRICE FUNDED FOR FY16 AND 70% OF THE TOTAL PRICE PHASE-FUNDED FOR FY17. THE INITIAL 6 PIECES WILL NOT BE PHASE FUNDED AS FUNDING CURRENTLY EXISTS. Offeror shall quote unit prices PLUS TOTALS. Offerors are to include a Price in their Proposal for a Unilateral Option for one (1) additional Coldmass Upper Assembly that may be exercised by 6/30/17. Please indicate by December 1, 2015, if your firm will submit a Proposal. Also, the last day to receive Questions regarding the RFP is December 18, 2015. ALL PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS...shall be organized such that the relevant technical and schedule information is at the beginning of the proposal, followed by the supporting documents. The pricing should be on a separate document from the technical proposal. Proposals should be no more than 50 pages total. The delivery schedule info shall be provided in Gantt chart format with workflow schedules for major production steps shown. Offeror shall ship items free of burrs, chips, cutting oils, and other contaminates. Offeror to package components adequately to prevent damage while in transit to Fermilab/JLAB. Email correspondence regarding this request must have the ID number noted above in the subject line. Material certifications are required with delivery. Foreign Offerors are required to state in their Proposals the 10 digit “Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Code.
