Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is in search of a General Contractor firm to provide construction services to perform work and coordinate two individual projects at B040 and B040A. Each Sub-Project shall keep accounting and pricing separately. The work at B040 Office Renovation includes reconfiguring approximately 600 SF space which includes interior painting, demolition of existing carpet, non-structural walls, and installation of new lighting, and updating electrical outlets. The General Contractor shall be aware that existing elements under the existing carpet contains asbestos as specified in the asbestos report that will be included with the Request for Proposal. The work at B040A Laser Lab Renovation includes modifying the existing office space into a laser lab. Work includes demolition of existing space, modification of existing HVAC System, modificiation of existing electrial system, new PCW system, modification to the existing fire safety and fire alarm system, data & voice.
