- Description
- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking sources for the procurement of the following laboratory equipment. This is not a Request for Proposal. Please register in Interested Vendor Portal for solicitation consideration. RFP's will be provided to selected suppliers by other means than FBO. Physical Property Measurement System, fully automated, that can run low temperature (and high field= 14 T) physical property measurements with NO need for any liquid cryogens. The system should be able to accommodate probes that are compatible with the system and can perform low temperature high field measurements of resistivity, heat capacity, magnetization (AC and DC), Hall effect, Seebeck coefficient, thermal conductivity, thermoelectric figure of merit ZT,torque magnetometer, dilution refrigerator. System should include: • 14 Tesla Superconducting Magnet with Persistent Mode Switch • PTR cryocooler cold-head and compressor. • Top-loading Variable Temperature Sample Space, Operation range is from 1.9K to 400K with Continuous Low Temperature Control • CAN Control Electronics. • MultiVu Control Software. • SMART Superconducting Magnet Power Supply (bi-polar operation with 24-bit resolution) • Integrated Cryopump High Vacuum System • All cables, hoses and pumps for operation. • System Manuals. • System User Kit containing tools, spares and break-out bridge. Heat Capacity Measurement System in the temperature range 1.9-400 K • Heat Capacity Module • Heat Capacity MultiVu Control Software. • All cables, hoses and connectors for operation. • System Manuals. Electrical Transport Option (ETO) compatible with the machine (physical property measurement system) • AC Transport Measurement System Module • Measurements can perform: AC Resistivity, 4 or 5-wire AC Hall Effect, I-V Curve or Critical Current. Dilution Refrigerator(DR) System that is compatible with the machine (physical property measurement system) • Helium-3 Module with Horizontal Sample Stage • Includes Helium-3 (He3) Gas • Three- Dilution Refrigerator User Sample Mounts • Two - DR Heat Capacity Micro-calorimeter Sample Puck (includes platform with heater and uncalibrated thermometer) • Dilution Refrigerator MultiVu Control Software. • All cables, hoses and connectors for operation. • System Manuals. • System User Kit containing tools and spares. Heat Capacity Compatibility Kit • Allows Heat Capacity Module to be used in the DR insert.
