Description
The purpose of this Amendment 0001 is to provide answers to submitted questions and to revise Section L, Instructions to Offerors, Section 2.3.2. Page Limitations on pages 71 and 72 of the original solicitation. ***The attached solicitation Amendment 0001 reflects the most updated verson of this solicitation.*** This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. The RFQ number is N39040-16-T-0031. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 05-83 and DFARS Change Notice 2015-1001. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code 336611 and the Small Business Standard is 1000 employees. This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE solicitation. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing pipefitter, welding, ship wright, electrician and painter tasks to support 688 Class Submarines (in accordance with attached solicitation): Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. All applicable clauses, terms and conditions can be found in the attached solicitation. This announcement will close at 12:00 EST local time on Friday, December 4, 2015. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. All quotes shall include a completed SF1449, a Point of Contact, name, email address, phone/FAX number, cage code, and business size. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements.
