- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The United States Government Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veteran Health Affairs (VHA) Network Contracting Office 3 (NCO3) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements based on logical follow-on), in the interest of economy and efficiency for a four (4) month period of performance (PoP). The Justification and Approval for this action will be included as a part of the award notice. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used and the resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS Code is561320, Temporary Health Services, and the Size Standard is $27.5 million. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Associate Resource Management, Inc 2531 Merrick Rd, Bellmore, NY for four (4) months of Patient Scheduling services at the VA Medical Center (VAMC) New York Harbor Healthcare System, 423 E. 23rd St. New York, NY 10010. This notice of intent serves as notification of the Government's intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that a prospective offeror can fulfill the requirements of the solicitation and that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties should submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer within 3 calendar days of the date of this notice. Contractors must be actively registered in SAM (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) database to be eligible for award.
