Description
AMENDMENT#3 The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items necessary to perform scheduled services and maintenance on all Paint Cleaning Equipment as defined in this PWS. The scheduled monthly maintenance service on 21 each Paint Gun Cleaner (IT-200), 18 each Paint Reclamation System (IT-3900) and 9 each Paint Rinse Tank (IT-8) The service shall include the following: A.1.1. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items necessary to perform scheduled services and maintenance on all Paint Cleaning Equipment as defined in this PWS. A.1.2. SERVICES. The scheduled monthly maintenance service on 21 each Paint Gun Cleaner (IT-200), 18 each Paint Reclamation System (IT-3900) and 9 each Paint Rinse Tank (IT-8) shall include the following: A.1.2.a. Inspection of all parts and components for cleanliness and serviceability. A.1.2.b. Remove and replace all defective or unserviceable parts or components. A.1.2.c. Remove or replace filter elements (Edge Tek or Brown Resin Prefilter as appropriate) monthly, or as determined by the Contractor, to ensure maximum solvent use and life. A.1.2.d. Addition or replacement of solvents (EP-921 or Teksol EP as appropriate) as necessary to ensure operational fluid levels and effectiveness are maintained. A.1.2.e. Spent filters to be taken to a government-designated collection point for disposal by the government as per local regulations. A.1.2.f. Spent solvent or sludge to be placed in a government designated container for disposal by the government as per local regulations. A.1.2.g. Replace solvent at least once per month per system or as determined by the Contractor. Virgin solvent will be provided by the Contractor to replace lost solvent due to drag out and solvent change out. Contractor shall maintain an adequate inventory of solvent on hand to perform the outlined activities. A.1.2.h. Replace filters at least once per month per system or as determined by the Contractor. Filters shall be provided by the Contractor. Contractor shall keep an adequate inventory of filters on hand to perform the outlined activities. A.1.3. SERVICE RELATED COST. All service costs shall include services, maintenance, parts, and labor.
