Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION - The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO 17), is soliciting for fire extinguisher and fire suppression systems in sections for the North Texas Veterans Health Care System (NTVHCS). This requirement will cover various medical facilities throughout Dallas and Bonham Texas. This requirement includes furnishing all labor, personnel, supplies, travel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and related items necessary to perform annual, semi-annual, and monthly inspections for a multiple-year contract. If there are any qualified vendors of interest, please send responses to the below email address. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is for a base term with four one-year option years with the total duration not to exceed 60 months. The corresponding North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561990 with a small business size standard of $11.0 million. Based on the market research, this requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed directly to the Contract Specialist, Nicole H. Dorsey, at nicole.dorsey@va.gov. Please include "NTVHCS Fire Extinguisher and Fire Suppression Systems Inspections" in the subject line of the email along with the RFQ identifier number, VA257-16-Q-0089. Please include a signed copy of the attached SF 1449, acknowledgements to any amendments, and the MS Excel Workbook titled "Cost Estimate Breakdown". Please pay special attention to each individual worksheet and only fill-in the yellow highlighted sections titled "Cost per Unit". These areas have been pre-formulated to fill in all other necessary areas. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 PM CST on December 14, 2015. Failure to submit all information requested on a timely basis will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested business.
