Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRY 1.General Information: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that are capable of providing cable or satellite television services throughout the Grand Junction VA Medical Center (GJVAMC). The location for these services is as follows: Grand Junction VA Medical Center located at 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. 2.Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supervision and maintenance as well as other items necessary to provide cable television service (the "Services") for approximately 85 televisions throughout GJVAMC (the Premises). Package shall include a minimum of 30 channels. a.Local broadcast stations (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS, etc.). b.Sports channels to include ESPN, Root Sports, and Altitude Sport c.Open channel for external device capability such as digital video disc (DVD) audio-visual material. 3.Special Requirements: The televisions (TVs) that will be served are channel/volume controlled via existing Nurse Call Pillow Speaker. This function has to remain. (Another remote control is not allowed.) a.Local channels shall be delivered over cable or satellite dish (due to the poor commercial quality, an over-the-air antenna shall not be permitted). b.Run new cable from source when entering building without splices. The information submitted shall contain the company's business size status. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). The VA will not pay for any information received resulting from this sources sought notice. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged. Information should be forwarded to the Contracting Officer. Any questions should be addressed to the Contracting Officer, in writing, at the email address provided. Because this is a request for information only, answers to questions will not be posted.
