- Description
- Timber Pre-Sale Services (IDIQ) Olympic National Forest. The Olympic National Forest, Washington, intends to acquire by contract services to traverse and post timber sale unit boundaries; and cruise timber to the standards stated in the Forest Service Sale Preparation Handbook (FSH 2409.18) and the Timber Cruising Handbook (FSH 2409.12). This solicitation will result in a performance-based, indefinite quantity contract. The period of performance will be stated in each Task Order. The duration of the IDIQ contract is three years. Project areas are on the Olympic National Forests, Washington. Period for performance is from January 15, 2016, to January 14, 2019. Project Manager is Mr. Ray Hershey, 360-956-2275. The government will proceed to issue a solicitation for commercial service as a Request for Proposals, under FAR Part 12. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience, and past performance. Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government Service Contract Act wage rates apply to any resulting contract. The proposed contract-type is indefinite quantity. This solicitation will be available on or about December 03, 2015. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by contacting askSAM@gsa.gov, or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
