Revised Attachment 1 Government Minimum Requirements The combined synopsis/solicitation has been amended to answer the following questions: Question 1: External SAS - Triple Rear SFF-8088 SAS Expansion Ports" is listed twice, is that a typo or are you actually looking for a 2 x Triple rear expansion ports? Answer 1: This is a typo, it should only be listed once. Question 2: You are looking for 2 independent servers, but you list the sever height as 8U. Is that 8U per server for a total of 16U? Or 4U per server for a total of 8U? Answer 2: Each unit is 8U in size for a total of 16U. Question 3: Will the Government consider changing the delivery time to 30-days for a complex solution like this and considering the lead-time for parts? Answer 3: No, due to the urgency of the requirements, the Government cannot extend the delivery time to 30 days. Question 4: The minimum specification document does not identify processor specifications. Can the Government please identify the core & clock frequency requirement for the processors? Answer 4: Minimum required processor is Intel Xeon E5-2640 V3, Eight Core Haswell Processor, 2.6 GHz, 20M Cache. Question 5: Are the 3x PCIE 2.0 SAS 6G RAID controllers for internal storage or for external SAS? If internal, please provide the connection diagram. Answer 5: Internal raid 5. Question 6: Will the Government accept two (2) 4U 44x 3.5in Direct Attached Storage (DAS) bay solutions to meet required external storage requirements? Answer 6: No. Question 7: Are the expansion bays requirements independent for each server (i.e. 66x 3.5in external drive bays required per server)? Answer 7: Yes, each unit must provide 66x3.5in external drive bays within the 8U enclosure. Question 8: Does the Government need 8088 cables to connect server with expansion bays? If so, please provide the connection diagram. Answer 8: No. Question 9: What type of drives are required in the expansion bays? Answer 9: Minimum 8TB 5900 RPM SATA Drives for the 16 data storage drives and 1TB 7200 RPM SATA drives for the two OS drives. Question 10: Is the 5.25" slim vertical drive an absolute requirement for you? Answer 10: No. Question 11: For your internal storage requirement, is using 16 x 8TB drives a set requirement? It will be less expensive to use smaller drives. For example, using 32 x 4TB drives. Answer 11: 16x8TB drives are required. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
