Description

The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to investigate potential manufacturing sources for an Improved Signal Data Converter (ISDC), NSN 5895-01-577-5425, currently on contract SPRBL1-14-D-0004. This notice is also to advise of the proposed action to increase the contract maximum on SPRBL1-14-D-0004 by 95 units from 475 units to 570 units. The existing contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type. A Request For Proposal (RFP) will only be issued if an alternate part can be identified that will satisfy the Government's minimum requirements, to include testing and interoperability as necessary. The total contract duration shall not extend past 11 April 2016. This part is currently sole source to EFW Inc., Cage Code 0WEC9. Detailed technical data is not available for the ISDC. This Sources Sought Notice is issued in accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1(d). Any parties with an alternate part for this NSN or with any other questions or concerns regarding this proposed action should contact the Contract Specialist and CC the Contracting Officer before the closing of this notice.
