STATEMENT OF WORK Brand Name or Equal. Meet or Exceed. Vendor must supply all items. FOB Destination Lowest Price Technically Acceptable 1. SCHEDULE TITLE: IV Poles 2. BACKGROUND: Southern Arizona VA Health Care System has a requirement to increase the number of IV Poles and Accessories it uses for the Alaris Infusion Pumps and modules. The current Stainless Steel Six Leg Base IV Poles and Accessories made by Pryor Products support the 30 plus pounds of equipment to include the 35 plus pounds of medical solutions. 3. SCOPE OF WORK: Is seeking a qualified contractor to provide the following Meet or Exceed and Brand Name or Equal to the Pryor Products (http://www.pryorproducts.com/) IV Poles and Accessories must meet the following minimum technical requirements. 4. DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS: 1)Stainless Steel Six leg base, 25 inch diameter (Part Number 176 SST) 2)IV Pole must be all Stainless steel construction (Part Number 176 SST) 3)3 inch diameter rubber castors with ball bearings (Part Number 176 SST) 4)Telescoping top pole (Part Number 176 SST) 5)Maximum height, (Top pole fully extended,) 99 inches (Part Number 176 SST) 6)Minimum height, (Top pole full compressed) 68 inches (Part Number 176 SST) 7)Eight slot hook, rake type top (Part Number 247) 8)Full circumference patient support wheel, enables IV pole to be used as an assist device for patient ambulation, constructed from high impact ABS plastic (Part Number 217) 9)To insure patient safety and to prevent tampering, the patient support wheel must require tools for securing to the pole. A hand tightened mechanism is not acceptable 10)Utility tray- integrated into support wheel (Part Number 218) 5. DELIVERY: Delivery should be made NLT (no later than) 30 days after award of contract.
