- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center - Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL) in Champaign, IL has the need to procure a Hydrogen/Oxygen Needle Sensor System. Unisense A/S provides a complete system for measurements that utilizes Clark-type hydrogen and oxygen microelectrodes to make precise measurements of changes in partial pressure over time in either very small volumes (eg.400 uL) or in microfluidic devices using the microsensor in a "piercing needle" configuration. This is the only system that has the small needle probes that is necessary for monitoring of gas content in microfluidic devices that is required. The system is uniquely flexible to allow measurement of other analytes such as O2, NO, N2O, H2S, pH and redox potential. Unisense A/S's proprietary software allows calibration and time-series acquisition of calibrated data to a Windows PC. Below are the requirements: 1. Hydrogen Needle Sensor for Piercing - Low Range (Unisense Item #H2-NPLR) 2. Oxygen Needle Sensor for Piercing - connector: Standard Lemo (Unisense Item #OX-NP) 3. 10% Extra for Option Selection 0.5 uM detection limit (Unisense item #Extra 10) 4. Microsensor Multimeter 4 CH 5. Calibration Chamber Including Pump (Unisense item #CAL300) 6. Estimated shipping - 60-90 days after date of award ERDC-CERL intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Unisense A/S in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Market research indicates that only the system manufacturer can provide the required Hydrogen/Oxygen Needle Sensor System. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513 which has a size standard of 500 Employees. This is not a small business set aside.
