Description

SF 18 Solicitation N00421-16-T-0062 is issued as an intent to sole source. The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for FAR Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Fab Fours, Inc., for Bumper Replacements, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b). The required bumper and winch system meets the current air certification issued by the Air Transportability Test Loading Agency (ATTLA) for the Unified Command Suite (UCS). This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis. All interested parties MUST submit their capabilities and a quote to Olive Rogers at olive.rogers@navy.mil no later than 14-DEC-2015 BY 4:00PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME. The Government will make a decision to consider other offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract based upon response to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.
