Description
Subject: Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action - Release of Solicitation This is not a solicitation or invitation for offerors to submit proposals. The 763d Specialized Contracting Squadron plans to release a solicitation for Logistics Integration and Weapon Systems Logistics Network (LOGNET) Support on or around 18 December 2015. This contracting office is located at 507 Symington Drive, Rm W202, Scott AFB IL 62225. The DoD requires AMC to effectively execute its worldwide assigned mobility air force (MAF) missions. To meet the DoD's MAF mission responsibilities, AMC requires successful information technology (IT) integration of the overall mobility logistics processes, including supporting systems and functions. LOGNET requirement encompasses contractor support for four separate interoperability functions where the contractor shall: (1) Interoperability Function 1 Provide support for IT infrastructure at field-level locations through maintenance and enhancement of the electronic tools (eTools), mobile computing devices (i.e. rugged and standard laptops, tablets, handheld devices, etc.) and supporting systems residing on the respective eTools. (2) Interoperability Function 2 Provide support for IT infrastructure at HQ AMC/A4 and G081 Program Management Office (PMO) staff by providing end user support of desktops, mobile devices (laptops, tablets, handheld devices, etc.), servers and conference rooms. (3) Interoperability Function 3 Provide G081 functional programming support and training to the G081 PMO as well as G081 user's worldwide. This requirement includes technical assistance to G081 users; training products development; and database, web page and application programming integration. (4) Interoperability Function 4 Provide subject matter expertise for technology, policy and system integration recommendations. This requirement shall require an in-depth, sequential process demonstration of the implementation of each policy and/or IT infrastructure recommendation and the potential affects to aircraft launches or sortie generation. The LOGNET requirement will utilize full and open competition, and the Service Code is D306. Scott AFB Illinois will be the primary place of performance, with some support required at global AMC bases. Please note that all dates listed in the synopsis are tentative and are subject to change.
