Description
GSA Public Buildings Service U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State:Utah City:Salt Lake City Delineated Area:Center of the Salt Lake Valley, close to the I-215 corridor in an area free of tall buildings. Boundaries are: I-80 to the north, 2200 West to the east, 5400 South to the south, 5600 West to the west Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):100 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):110 Space Type:Other Parking Spaces (Total):0 Parking Spaces (Surface):0 Parking Spaces (Structured):0 Parking Spaces (Reserved):0 Full Term:20 Firm Term:10 Option Term:2, five year options Additional Requirements:Offeror must provide space to house a large satellite on top of the building, preferably on a two or three story building with excellent physical security to protect the satellite unit. Location for satellite must have unobstructed view of the sky and no radio frequency interference. Location must have the infrastructure to provide large scale data transmission through a minimum 10GB fiber optic network. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is not required. Offered space shall not be in the 500 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Salt Lake City, Utah that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
