The work scope includes man-power, equipment, supplies, fuel, drill rig, drilling assembly including drill bits, drill stem, and downhole tools, and surface drilling equipment, including mud pumps and air compressors for direct circulation using air or drilling fluids. Drilling vertical holes in sizes from 8 to 14-3/4 inches in diameter. The holes will be drilled from ground surface to approximately 1000 feet. 9-5/8-inch surface casing will be set to as deep as 100 feet and cemented to surface; drill out casing shoe with 8 to 9-inch bit to as deep as 1000 feet. We anticipate as many as 24 of these holes to be drilled. The formation is alluvium and welded volcanic tuff. Subcontractor will also provide rig support to lower instrumentation into each borehole using either their rig or wire line capabilities. Drilling angle holes in sizes from 8 to 14-3/4 inches in diameter, with angles 25 ± 5 degrees off vertical. Angle holes will be drilled from surface to approximately 20-40 feet; 9-5/8-inch surface casing will be set to 20-35 feet and cemented to surface; drill out casing shoe with 8-inch bit to 500 feet at an angle of 25 ± 5 degrees off vertical. Drilling HQ core holes underground at various angles between horizontal and vertical. Drilling may occur in drifts ranging in size from 10 x 10 feet to 18 x 18 feet. The underground boreholes will be less than 500 ft in total length. Drilling underground holes up to 4 inches in diameter at various angles between horizontal and vertical. Drilling may occur in drifts ranging in size from 10 x 10 feet to 18 x 18 feet. Additional drilling projects using similar characteristics as discussed above may be possible.
