Description

The Network Contracting Office 22, Long Beach intends to award a firm fixed price to a Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business SDVOSB. The requirement is being set-aside to SDVOSB that has been certified by VetBiz.gov The NAICS Code is 238220 and small business size is $14.0 Mil. The Contract period shall be for a base year and two option periods. The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) for a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment and Siemens Apogee Building automation System preventive maintenance and intervening maintenance and repair services agreement (all parts, labor and travel) for all HVAC units in buildings 304, 345, 401, 402, 500, 501 & 507, Fisher House and Distant Patient Lodging at VAGLAHS. Maintenance Services includes preventative maintenance, service calls, call back service and emergency service. Notice to Offerors: The pre-proposal job walk shall be conducted at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd. The meeting place for the job walk will be at the Engineering shop, Building 63, on Thursday, December 19, 2015 at 9:30a.m. The Pre-Proposal will provide the contractor the opportunity to inspect the equipment that shall be maintained in the upcoming contract. If you have any questions, on the location of the meeting place, please contact Alan Silver at 310-268-3424. Offerors are encouraged to attend this pre-proposal job walk prior to submitting their proposal in order to be fully aware of the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work. Failure to attend the Pre-proposal meeting shall not relieve the successful offeror from performing their services in accordance with the specifications. This is the only pre-proposal meeting that will be conducted. The Contract must provide documentation that they can maintain the installed Siemens HVAC control systems. Contractor must provide documentation that they can service and support specific to Siemens manufactured equipment. This equipment is very technical in nature and requires factory trained service technicians with access to technical service bulletins and system updates to ensure proper operation of the Building Automation and HVAC systems at the ABC Account. Contractor must show documentation that can provide the software support and updates, online and onsite support for emergency and non-emergency situations. Contractor must provide documentation that they can provide warranty coverage on Siemens equipment. The contract will be for a base year with two option years. Solicitation will be posted on or about 12/11/2015 with solicitation due back on or about 01/11/2016.
