- The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to perform dockside repairs of the USCGC STRATTON (WMSL 752), a 418 foot National Security Cutter home ported at Coast Guard Island, Alameda CA. The planned period of performance will be on or about June 20, 2016 through August 3, 2016. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for award. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine the method of procurement including whether to set-aside the procurement for small business or other set-aside programs. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Cutter's home port on Coast Guard Island, Alameda CA. GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION - None SAMPLING OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Tanks, Clean and Inspect Fixed CO2, FM 200 and Ansul R-102 Systems Annual Certification Water Mist System, Annual Inspection, Perform Forward and Aft Capstan, Biennial Overhaul Starboard Carriage Winch, Repair Oily Water Separator System, Groom Flight Deck Net, Weight Testing Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier Piping and Valve Insulation, Renew Insulation Repairs, Watertight Doors Water Mist Pump Room, Bulkhead, Preserve Air Conditioning Plants Resilient Mounts, Renew Bulkheads, Preserve, "Partial" Decks, Preserve Vent Ducts (Crew Mess Room, Ward Room and CPO Mess Room), Commercial Cleaning Vent Ducts, Renew Exterior Surface, Preserve Tenting, Provide Watermist Tanks Preserve, Partial Watermist Tanks Preserve, 100% Tanks (JP-5 Overflow), Preserve "100% Helo Nets, Renew Interested parties must submit the following: (a) Company name, business size status (i.e., small, large, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) (b) Capability to perform work similar to the above work items.
