Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR NUCLEAR DISABLEMENT TRAINING. SOLICITATION # W91ZLK-16-T-0028 POSTING DATE: 9 DEC 2014 RESPONSE DATE: 23 DEC 2014 The U. S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tenant Division, intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.501(a)(1)(i)) with the Westinghouse Electric Company 1000 Westinghouse Drive Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, 16066 USA. The contractor shall provide training to allow NDT soldiers an understanding of nuclear plant safety systems, control room design, reactor theory, and identification of major components and parameters. The training program will require unique and highly technical knowledge that can only be performed by Westinghouse Electric Company LLC (CAGE: 76P28). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541990 and the size standard is $15.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 3:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST), December 18, 2014. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers.
