Description
Solicitation Tarpulin Materials and Install STATEMENT OF WORK REPLACE PVC FENCE COVERINGS AT 51 LRS COMPOUNDS 1. SCOPE OF WORK: The work to be performed under the terms of this contract for completion of this project shall be as described below. 1.1. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all personnel, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, vehicles, and any other resources necessary to accomplish the requirements of this contract contained herein and as included in the contract specifications which form a part of this contract. The contractor shall replace fabric on chain link fences at various 51 LRS compounds. 2. PRINCIPLE WORK FEATURES: This project includes: (a) Materials and Installations BLDGS (All fence covering install is outside of the fence): • BLDG (1217) (WRM) (War reserve material) :420 Meter), • 1332 (VM) (Vehicle maintenance): 990 Meter), • 623 (Fuel bulk storage: 178 Meter), • 635 (TMO) ( transportation management office): 545 Meter), • 824 (LGRM) ( receiving management):405 Meter), • 819 (CC) 51 LRS command compound):121 Meter), • 2460 (WRM) (war reserve material storage) South:134Meter) (b) Remove old fence coverings from chain link fences. (c) Dispose of used material. 3. PRINCIPLE WORK FEATURES (INSTALLATION): This project includes, but is not limited to, the following principles features of installation. (a) Measure each section of chain link fence. (b) Custom manufacture Polyester Vinyl Coated (PVC) material (Hanwha Polyester Vinyl Coated) (PVC) Tarpaulin model 630T or minimum specifications: Minimum Specifications: Fabric is Polyester Vinyl Coated (PVC) material.6mm thickness 1 meter and 80 centimeters height by approx. 2,800 meters length. All edges must have 2 inch hems reinforced with polypropylene rope galvanized Grommets/eyelets every 20" around circumference secured to fence with 6mm nylon string/rope (c) To fit each section of chain link fence. (Overall, approximately 2,800 meters in length and approximately 1 meter and 80 centimeters in height.) (d) Material thickness 0.6mm, color Dark Green, super strong, damage & weather resistant (e) Each edge of the manufactured material will have a 2 inch hem reinforced with polypropylene webbing or rope for reinforcement. (f) Each edge of the manufactured material will have a galvanized steel grommet/eyelet located within 1 inch of the edge and spaced approximately 20 inches apart around the circumference of the material. (g) A flap, approximately 2 inches in width, will be heat sealed or heat fused down the middle of the manufactured material. The flap is used to secure the middle of the material to the fence. This flap will be reinforced with polypropylene webbing or rope for reinforcement and will have galvanized grommets spaced approximately 20 inches apart. (h) Install material (0.6mm thickness) on each section of fence in the 51 LRS compounds. (i) Secure material to fences with tension rope (nylon, 6mm diameter) along the top, middle and bottom of each section of fencing. 4. DAMAGE: Any damage created as a result of the contractor's actions shall be repaired by him at no cost to the Government. 5. CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES: It is the contractor's responsibility to verify measurements, remove old coverings and install new coverings. The contractor shall be responsible for cleanup and disposal of all work related debris. 6. WARRANTY: All Material and workmanship will be warranted against defects for a period of 1 year. 7. WORK PERIOD: The contractor will have 60 days, from the signing of this contract, to complete all work in its entirety. 8. MATERIAL SUBMITTALS: Contractor will provide sample of canvas, eyelets and nylon rope materials.
