- This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), New Jersey intends to award a contract for Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) and spares for emerging squadron stand-ups to support the extended deployment of RAAF EA-18G and F/A-18E/F aircrafts. This procurement will also include a Support Equipment Integrated Logistics Support package. The PSE is required to perform Organizational Level (O-Level) and Intermediate Level (I-Level) Maintenance on the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) EA-18G and F/A-18 E/F aircrafts. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO under the statutory authority of 10 USC 2304(C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the EA-18G and F/A-18E/F aircraft and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical expertise to provide the PSE for the RAAF requirements. The Government does not possess the technical data package to allow for a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. Responses must be received within seven (7) days of publication of this notice.
