- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for fifty seven (57) Flange Penetrator Plugs. NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order on a sole source basis to Ducommun LaBarge Technologies Inc. 1505 Maiden Lane, Joplin, MO 64802 (Cage Code 1R791). The required Flange Penetrator Plugs required for the MK60 Mod 1 All Up Round Simulators (AURS) and provide a seal to a hole on the flange around the capsule dome where a cable is normally run to prevent leakage. This item is manufactured solely by Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc. are tested and certified for the Virginia Class BLK III Virginia Payload Tube (VPT) construction program. The required items are as follows: CLIN 0001, Assembly # 7-21282, Rev A, Flange Penetrator Plug, Qty. (57) F.O.B Destination, Newport, RI (02841) This requirement is an unrestricted sole source procurement as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The NAICS is 336419; the size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Additional details will be released upon issuance of Request for Quote (RFQ) No. N66604-15-Q-3858. The RFQ is anticipated for release on or about 08 October 2015. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. The delivery schedule will be established in the RFQ. For additional information on this requirement, please contact Pamela J.
