Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs NCO 6 intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Medtronic USA, for a Cardiac Cryoablation System. The required items are listed below. A sources sought notice was posted for this requirement under solicitation number VA246-16-Q-0061 December 04, 2015 thru December 09, 2015. 1.Item # 106A Cryoconsole 1 EA 2.Item # 2037A Auto Connection Box 2 EA 3.Item # 104FS Footswitch 1 EA 4.Item # 2035W ECG Cable 2 EA 5.Item # 1035CW White Scavenging Hose 6.0 m 20 FT 1 EA 6.Item # 103N2 N20 Refrigerant Tank (full) 4 EA 7.Item # 1038N North American Power Cord 1 EA 8.Item # 1036W Wrench 1 EA This procurement is in support of Hunter Holmes Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. The VA intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses are due by December 17, 2015 at 4:00 PM, to Dwayne.tillery@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses received from the notice mentioned above and additional market research is solely within the discretion of the Government.
