- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. The NIST Office of Information Systems Management (OISM) has a requirement for BusinessObjects Software Maintenance Renewals during Fiscal Year 2016. This procurement is for one year of software, maintenance and support for the period of performance January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016. However, see the Schedule of Required Items for specific period of performance details Amenment 001: The purpose of this amendment is to change the Response Date from December 16, 2015 at 12:00 pm Eastern to December 21, 2015 at 12:00 pm Eastern and to answer the following questions received in response to Solicitation # SB1341-16-RQ-0060, BusinessObjects Software Maintenance: 1. We will require your Customer ID for your Business Object contract. Answer: NIST's SAP Customer ID is 963420 2. Has a contractor performend similar work to this for the government in the past? Answer: Yes, a contractor has provided BusinessObjects Software Maintenance for NIST in the past. 3. If available, please provide the incumbent contract number: Answer: The incumbent contract # is SB1341-15-NC-0047 4. If you are unable to provide a contract number, it is safe to assume this is a new requirement for the government? Answer: Not applicable - This is not a new requirement for NIST.
