This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA249-16-Q-0135 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This requirement is a Small Business Set Aside. NAICS: The NAICS is 561613 and the small business size standard is $20.5 million. Any firm that is not considered a small business under this NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. To be receiving a government award, the offeror must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Offerors are encouraged to go to the SAM database www.sam.gov and start the registration process as soon as possible to avoid possible delays should the contractor be selected as a prospective awardee. Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) must also be current to qualify to receive a contract award. Offeror may register with CCR at www.sam.gov. Period of Performance (POP): The base POP is from 01/01/2016 - 09/30/2016 plus four (4) one (1) year options ending 09/30/2020. Options may be exercised unilaterally by the Government. Base Year period of performance: 01/01/2016 thru 09/30/2016 Option Year 1 period of performance: 10/01/2017 thru 09/30/2017 Option Year 2 period of performance: 10/01/2018 thru 09/30/2018 Option Year 3 period of performance: 10/01/2019 thru 09/30/2019 Option Year 4 period of performance: 10/01/2020 thru 09/30/2020 Description of Services: The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 has a requirement for the Robley Rex VA Medical Center to have a contractor provide Armored Car Services in support of the Agent Cashier and Veterans Canteen Service. Location of Performance: Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Agent Cashier 800 Zorn Avenue, 1st Floor, Room B-155 Louisville, KY 402026. Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Veterans Canteen Services 800 Zorn Avenue, 2nd Floor, Room B-248c Louisville, Kentucky 40206 Contract Type: The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price award. Award will be made to lowest price quote which conforms to the requirements within this solicitation and statement of work. To receive consideration as SDVOSB, the firm must be registered and verified in the VIP database at www.vip.vetbiz.gov.
