Source Sought Request Form Synopsis: BATTLE CONTROL CENTER MISSION LIGHTING STUDY SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone, Small Businesses and Service Disabled Veteran Sources, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a), Women Owned Businesses. Contractor's status will be verified through SAM and SBA. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. New York Air National Guard may issue a solicitation and award of a contract to provide recommendations for facilities lighting to maximize operator alertness and to complement personnel health through light management, subject to availability of funds. The New York Air National Guard is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of performing a complete and thorough site analysis including physical light measurements and other data collection including personnel interviews and work schedule information at the Eastern Air Defense Sector Battle Control Center, Rome, New York. The work includes furnishing of all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for a complete and usable study of the current lighting conditions and recommendations to improve personnel alertness. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than January 5, 2016. This notification, which shall not exceed five pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (link to form below) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Information shall be provided via email to: USAF.NY.107-MSG.LIST.MSC@Mail.Mil. Include the following in the subject line - LIGHTING STUDY Sources Sought. No facsimile responses will be honored.
