Description
This Sources Sought is being used to conduct market research. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only regarding a tentative requirement for Logistics Automation Services (LOGAUTO). This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The solicitation is not available at this time and any request to view the solicitation will not receive a response. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) seeks information from private industry about providing LOGAUTO services. The responses to this RFI will be used for information purposes only. The Army will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this RFI. The primary location for physical performance will be Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, with remote and occasional site support provided throughout the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility. The contractor will be responsible for supporting the lead agency responsible for automated logistical support to the Army Forces deployed to Southwest Asia. Personnel with specific subject matter expertise in Information Assurance (IA) and key logistics systems - supply, ammunition, and logistics command and control - are required to properly design and implement this architecture. These personnel are needed to provide IA compliance guidance, automated logistical support, technical training and assistance to subordinate logistics commanders' staff and Sustainment Automation Support Management Offices (SASMO). The SASMO provide customer assistance for the Army's Tactical Logistics Systems (TLS), including software, functional, technical, communications and limited hardware. The SASMO also provides training evaluation to unit personnel and staff assistance on the use and implementation of TLS platforms throughout the command. Please see the attached Draft Performance Work Statement for additional information. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to the e-mail addresses below no later than 0800 Central Time on 23 December 2015. Responses shall be limited to ten pages and shall include the following information: A. Company overview including company name, DUNS, CAGE code, business size, socioeconomic status, address and point(s) of contact including name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. This section shall also include a summary of relevant services offered. B. A brief description of the company and its capabilities to include the capability of meeting a 60 day mobilization period and conforming to Kuwait labor laws. C. Past Experience providing similar Information Technology support services under a performance based contract. Emphasis shall be placed on federal contracts. Please include the Name of the federal agency for which services were provided, contract number, the period of performance of the contract, IT services provided by the contract and the contract dollar value.
