Description
Army Ground Aerial Target Control Systems (AGATCS), Target Interface Control Units (TICU), and Associated Ancillary Equipment THIS IS A SYNOPSIS ONLY. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE FORTHCOMING. The Targets Management Office (TMO) at Redstone Arsenal, AL, has a requirement for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) in support of the AGATCS Program. The AGATCS program is a system of systems designed to provide a reliable and robust capability for the remote control of unmanned target vehicles. This capability is required to meet the needs of the Army in support of weapon system Test and Evaluation (T&E) target presentations as well as training exercises. The AGATCS program primarily consists of the aerial, ground and seaborne target control system, the aerial avionics package, the ground vehicle control module, ground vehicle instrumentation kits, test sets, and simulators/trainers. This effort is to produce items designed and tested under the competitively awarded engineering services contract number W31P4Q-14-C-0130 and repair any items under this effort or items produced under previous IDIQ efforts. The contractor for this requirement will produce hardware and ensure that hardware components manufactured (either manufactured by the contractor or procured from another manufacturer) and hardware components repaired are IAW the system's latest configuration management documentation and also compatible with specific AGATCS system software. Under this effort the contractor will perform Teardown and Inspection (T&I) at the contractor's facility of identified unserviceable components from the AGATCS, TICUs, and any Associated Ancillary Equipment and furnish an estimate of repair and estimated delivery date to return the unserviceable component to mission-ready (serviceable) condition. This effort is for a sole source single procurement award, delivery order with the option of follow-on Firm Fixed Price (FFP) production and repair efforts. The NAICS code is 336413. Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing via email to Contracting Officer at: amy.a.lett.civ@mail.mil. Verbal requests for information will NOT be honored. Any requests for information made after the closing date of Friday, 15 January 2016, will NOT be addressed.
