Description
This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This publication satisfies the requirement at FAR Part 5 and constitutes the Government's Notice of Intent to extend award SP3300-16-M-0828 for a period of two (2) months beginning 9 January 2016 through 8 March 2016 on a non-competitive basis. This extension will be accomplished under the authority of FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to extend services, on a sole source basis, as authorized by FAR 13.302. The Defense Logistics Agency requires Tracker Lite Requirements ANalysis and Maintenance Support services. Award SP3300-16-M-0828 is currently in place with I B Logistics, LLC for the required services. The period of performance under this award is currently scheduled to end on 8 January 2016. The Defense Logistics Agency J7 Acquisitions Operations Office in New Cumberland, PA is currently in process of soliciting for a follow on contract for these services and anticipates an award by 8 March 2016. Award SP3300-16-M-0828 will expire on 8 March 2016 upon execution of the modification which would extend services under the award for a two (2) month period. In order to ensure that a break in services in not experienced, the Defense Logistics Agency J7 Acquisitions Operations Office would like to modify award SP3300-16-M-0828 to extend services for two (2) months in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, which is included in the contract. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be more advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement and proposal; which shall be considerred by the agency. This synopsis is not considered a request for bid/quote/proposal. A solicitation document is not available and telephone requests for technical information will not be honored. An award will not be made on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541512 and the size standard is $27,500,000.00.
