Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETIVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICIATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance size standard of $20.5 million. Network Contracting Office 17, in support of the North Texas VA Medical Center, located at 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, Texas 75216 intends to award a sole source contract under authority FAR 6.302-1 to Steris Corporation located at 5960 Heesley Rd., Mentor, OH 44060-1834 to provide preventative maintenance for the Steris Sterilizers located at the Medical center. The proposed contract will be firm fixed price contract with a base year and two option years. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services, they must respond to this notice by 12/30/2015 at 12:00pm (noon) central time. Information received from interested parties will be reviewed to determine if the party can perform the requirement. The Point of Contract (POC) for this notice is Dale A.
