Description

The F-35 "Lighting II" Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to issue an order under Basic Agreement N00019-14-G-0020 on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth TX to execute F-35 Ft Worth Flight Line operations to utilize an Automatic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Standard Operating Unit (SOU). This requirement shall replace the current ALIS on the Flight line shadowing efforts. LM Flight Line ALIS Transition (FLAT) shall be implemented on the LM Flight Line to utilize ALIS SOU using the full ALIS Standard Operating Instruction (SOI) set in support of all Government Acceptance Check Flights for each aircraft from LRIP 9 and on. The proposed order is anticipated to be awarded in January 2016. This effort will be awarded on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements, and in accordance with Class Justification and Approval dated 15 January 2013. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
