- Draft SOW The Library of Congress (LOC) has exhibited at the American Library Association (ALA) midwinter meeting and annual conference for many years. ALA annual conferences are held two times a year at different locations in the United States. ALA is the largest association of library and information professionals in the country. LOC needs to rent space for its exhibit booth at each of the two ALA annual conferences of 2016 to continue advancing intellectual discovery, research and education, and establishing partnerships. The two conferences are located at the Boston Convention Center and the Orlando Convention Center. LOC intends to issue this requirement as a sole source Firm Fixed Price purchase order to the conference sponsor, ALA Show Management. Any firm that wishes to be considered for this requirement must submit a capability statement that demonstrates its ability to meet all the requirements described in the attached draft SOW. The capability statement must not exceed two (2) double-spaced pages and shall include the following information: 1) Company Name, DUNS Number, Address, Point of Contact, phone number and email address; 2) Corporate structure (corporation, LLC, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, professional corporation, etc.); 3) References, including name, phone number and email address of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities identified in the responses; 4) Socioeconomic status, including whether the vendor is a woman owned, minority owned, blind or service disabled veteran owned. Capability Statments must be submitted via email to: tott@loc.gov.
