THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This announcement is seeking information from industry, which will be used for planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities and qualifications of Small Businesses. The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA, has a requirement for Small Businesses to provide construction services for Project 667-083, Expand Radiology & Sterile Processing Service (SPS) Shreveport. A copy of the Statement of Work is attached. Per VAAR 836.204, the construction cost range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Prior Government work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought notice. This notice is published as market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of Small Businesses capable of performing the requirements to warrant a solicitation set-aside. An active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required. Registration is available at www.sam.gov. The firm shall be listed in SAM under NAICS code 236220 and be capable of providing the required construction services. Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall submit the following information at a minimum: 1)Company Name and Address. 2)DUNS Number. 3)Company's Bonding Capability (construction bonding level per contract and aggregate construction bonding level, both expressed in dollars); 4)Name, phone number and email address of a point of contact for clarifications/further information. The response date to this Sources Sought notice is December 30, 2015, at 3:30 pm local (Shreveport) time. This market research is for informational and planning purposes only to determine if a Small Business set-aside is appropriate. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted. All responses shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer at Albertine.Honore@va.gov. Subject line relating to this sources sought must read "PROJECT 667-083 SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSE".
