Description

Product Description Requirements Memo THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT FOR HEWLETT-PACKARD SUPERDOME MAINTENANCE. The Software Engineering Directorate (SED) of the U.S Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center, requires Hewlett-Packard Superdome Maintenance. The required service will be used to support mission-essential hardware in the THAAD Evaluation Center, Hardware-in-the-Loop Lab. This service supports additional storage needs. Only Anuekor can support the current systems in use in the lab. Use of any other service would result in having toreplace equipment, which would have detrimental impacts on the THAAD testing schedule and result in unacceptable delays and unnecessary costs. Aneukor is the only provider of the required service. Any parties that feel they can meet this requirement should contact Cassandra Patton via email at cassandra.d.patton2.civ@mail.mil No later than December 24, 2015 at 6:00 AM(CST). Authority Cited: This recommendation is being made pursuant to the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition. Identify the appropriate FAR citation: FAR 6.302-1 (c) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements - brand name descriptions. Also provide the following information: Required delivery schedule: As soon as possible, to facilitate testing; Required lead-time: 30 days after receipt of order. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for Hewlett-Packard Superdome Maintenance. Please see attached documents.
