Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - HAZARDOUS WASTE REMOVAL SERVICES - SDVOSB SET ASIDE ONLY- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4 intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Contract for Hazardous Waste Disposal Services. The contractor will provide disposal services, training, emergency spill response for VA Medical Center in Altoona, PA., Butler, PA., Clarksburg, WV., Coatesville, PA., Erie, PA., Lebanon, PA., Pittsburgh, PA., Philadelphia, PA., Wilkes-Barre, PA., and Wilmington, DL., in accordance with the solicitation documents, specifications and standards. Additionally, the contractor shall provide annual training to a maximum of five (5) employees per session at each main Medical Center for ten (10) sessions per year and up to fifty - (50) employees per year. Performance period is base year with four option years available. The solicitation will be available approximately thirty (30) calendar days from the date of publication of this announcement. The solicitation, specifications, and attachments will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will post on this website. All respondents must be registered in SAM data base, see https://www.sam.gov to include the completion of Representations and Certifications and registering with Vets 100 at http://vets.dol.gov/vets100 /. Bidders must be registered in Vetbiz at http://vetbiz.gov/. All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a "Request for Proposal (RFP)" conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 562112 with a small business size standard of $11 million annual receipts for the past three (3) years. The solicitation package, amendments will be issued by way of FedBizOpps website only. Solicitation Issue Date will be on or about September 1, 2015. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing by email to timothy.russell@va.gov. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation based on the availability of funds. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the web site for all notices, amendments, etc. regarding this solicitation. The government will not be responsible for any notifications not sent or received by contractors regarding this solicitation.
