- Description
- The Embassy of the United States in Kyiv, Ukraine will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website to require Packing and Shipping services of inbound and outbound household effects, vehicles, containerized shipments, delivery and unpacking of incoming household effects and general cargo and other related services. The resultant contract will be a fixed price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity for one base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the US Government. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. The Government may elect to award a single contract or multiple contracts for the same services to two or more sources under this solicitation. The US Government will issue the solicitation on the FedBizOpps and the Embassy webpage during the month of January, 2016. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Electronic submissions will not be accepted. Note: The response date in this synopsis is not a firm date. Please see the RFP for the actual response date. Companies must obtain and /or provide proof of all permits and licenses required to provide packing and shipping services business in Ukraine in accordance with host government laws (eg. The Law of Ukraine on automobile transport, section III, chapter 8, article 48 - Documents stipulating cargo transportation, Section IV, Article 57 - Passenger and cargo transportation in Ukrainian territory by foreign transport operators; Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine # 1388 dated September 7, 1998 - General Provisions, etc.). SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Electronic Submission/Responses: No electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
