Description
5120-01-603-0725 UI: EA 5120-01-603-0725 UI: EA TORQUE ADAPTER DESCRIPTION In accordance with Society of Automotive Engineers Aerospace Standard AS954G, Wrenches, Hand Twelve Point High Strength, Thin Wall, dated 2011 Exception to AS954G dated 2011: Exception: Paragraph 3.7 Test Proof Loads, the following requirement shall be incorporated: Torque shall be applied with a suitable torque producing machine. Torque shall be applied at a speed of 15 deg/min to 30deg/min until proof load value is achieved; test load shall be held for 10 seconds, then torque shall be released. This proof load test shall be performed in the clockwise and counter clockwise direction.. Type III: Torque Adaptors Overall Length: 6-3/4 inches Square Drive Size: 1 inch Wrench Opening: 36 mm Material: Steel Features: Impact tool ITEM MARKING Each item Shall Be Marked in a Permanent and Legible Manner with: 1) Manufacturer's Part Number 2) Manufacturer's Name or Identifying Symbol, and 3) Country of Origin Each Package including the unit, single, intermediate, and exterior container must be labeled with the requisition number or Transportation Control Number (TCN). Requisition Number and TCN are found on the Purchase Order. PACKAGING One (1) item shall be preserved and packaged in a unit package designed to protect the item against damage during shipment, handling, and storage. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked and bar coded for delivery to the GSA DEPOT and MILITARY ACTIVITIES shall be in accordance with the latest version of MIL-STD-129, "Military Marking For Shipment and Storage". "Latest version" is defined as the version in effect on the date of bid submittal.
