- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is for the purpose for One (1) year renewal subscription service for Unicorn Software Maintenance for Redstone Scientific Information Center (RSIC). Model required is the SirsiDynix Integrated Library System (ILS). All operations of RSIC are performed on the Sirsi Dynix ILS to include the ordering of materials, cataloging, circulation, storage of archival materials and internet interface for users. The contractor shall maintain and keep fully operational, the existing Redstone Scientific Information Center’s (RSIC) inthrated library system (ILS), Models III, IV and C software, including interfaces with other databases/networks. The services furnished must support and update the latest version of current RSIC ILS software insuring compatibility with existing hardware maintaining the functional capabilities now available. All software upgrades/updates must be compatible with existing functional capabilities of current system. The contractor shall provide on-site and/or user helpdesk telephone support of all maintained software within two business hours. The contractor shall provide updated versions of user manuals and publications for all software as update/changes are implemented.
