- Description
- Statement of Work Supplemental Requirements DD Form 254 Statement of Objectives (SOO) Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) Proposal Adequacy Checklist Section K - Reps & Certs Model Contract BAA Initial Announcement The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Multispectral Sensing and Detection Division (RYM) in the Sensors Directorate conducts basic and applied research, advanced technology development, as well as test and evaluation to meet U.S. Air Force (USAF) aerospace electro-optical (EO) and radio frequency (RF) sensor needs for air, space and C2 sensor systems. AFRL/RYM conducts programs in modeling, simulation, research, design, test and evaluation of RF and EO subsystems and sensors for use in offensive, defensive and integrated offensive/defensive systems. AFRL/RYM ensures unequaled persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; time sensitive targeting; and battlespace access capabilities for America's air and space forces by developing, demonstrating and transitioning advanced RF and EO sensors. AFRL/RYM solicits innovative research proposals in the following twelve research areas. 1. Antenna Technologies and Electromagnetic (EM) Scattering 2. Electro-optic and Infrared Sensor Technology (EO/IR) 3. Sensor Information Processing and Integration 4. Novel EO/IR, Spectral and Common Aperture EO/Radio Frequency (RF) Hardware and Algorithms 5. Waveform Phenomenology, Design and Applications 6. Ultra-Sensitive Receivers for Signals Intelligence 7. Long Range Day/Night Hyperspectral Imaging Research 8. Standoff High Resolution Imaging 9. Infrared Search and Track Technology 10. Passive Concept Exploration 11. Laser Radar Imaging, Systems, Components, and Applications 12. RF Sensor Systems Technology AFRL seeks and encourages small business participation as prime contractors, through teaming arrangements and/or as performers on individual task and subtask research activities.
