Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to award a sole source contract to Verizon Business Network Services, Inc., 22001 Loudoun County Pkwy, Ashburn, VA 20147 pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The contract will maintain coverage for Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) Telecommunications voice and data services in a limited area for VA Region 3 Telecommunications Business Office (R3 TBO). The period of performance is 12 month base period with two, 12 month option periods. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 517110. The anticipated award date is January 15, 2016. This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal/quote and is not intended to be taken as such.
