- ***************************************************** This Request For Information (RFI) is hereby amended for the following purposes: (a) Provide responses to previously received vendor questions; see questions and responses herein. (b) Extend the submission deadline to 11:59PM (ET) on January 10, 2016. ***************************************************** Question 1: Does an incumbent exst for FIT's Designing Best Practice (Software Agnostic) Financial Management Processes requirement? If so, could the name and award number be provided? Response 1: No, this is a new requirement; no incumbent exists. Question 2: The RFI states, "Considering the above, below are a series of questions for RFI respondents. Responses should be limited to 10 pages in total and address the following." Does the Government intend for questions 1-7 to be limited to 10 pages or is the entire RFI response (inclusive of all 10 RFI questions) to be limited to 10 pages? Response 2: Vendor responses to questions 1-7 should be limited to 10 pages in total. For the additional 3 questions, there is no page limitations imposed; however, the responses should be limited to approximately half of a page per example. Question 3: Is question 7 pertaining to what type of contracts the prospective respondee has been awarded (fixed price, time and materials, etc.) for similar work? Response 3: Yes, that is correct. Question 4: Is the Government looking for suggestions on other innovative pricing arrangements outside of FFP, T&M, etc? Response 4: Yes, that is correct. Question 5: What does the Government specifically mean by "share in savings"? Response 5: Share in savings reflects a meaning of "the Government awards a contract to improve mission-related or administrative processes or to accelerate the achievement of tis mission and share with the contractor in savings achieved through contract performance." (10 U.S.C. 2332) *****************************************************
