This agenda incorporates the entire industry day week schedule of events, including the schedule for each contractor. If a company cannot make its scheduled event, please email jaime.veglia.1@us.af.mil Each event includes the locations and classification. All electronic devices are prohibited in classified events. Contractors that have previously submitted visit requests for the previous Industry Day during 2015 are no longer valid for the Jan. 2016 Industry Day event. Please submit a visit request specifically for the personnel that will be attending Industry Day or that require access to the Bidder's Library. All visit requests to SMO Code "HP1MFGBSD." ______________________________________________________ **UPDATE** 22 December 2015 Please find attached the agenda for the upcoming GBSD Industry Day 4.0. Please note there are changes to the itinerary to include the addition of an 'Own the Technical Baseline' brief on Wednesday, 13 January 2016. The government will provide an overview of how it intends to 'Own the Technical Baseline' (OTB) using a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach. This briefing will cover a more detailed look at the products that the government will be using to OTB and how they are inter-related, these products include the requirements, architectural models, analytical models, and cost-benefit analysis trades. This briefing is intended to expose industry to how the government is thinking about owning the technical baseline and to receive feedback from industry about the process. Please RSVP NLT 5 January 2016 to Ms. Jaime Veglia at jaime.veglia.1@us.af.mil to attend the OTB briefing. Please inlcude the number of attendees. If interested in presenting a capability brief please email Ms. Veglia. ______________________________________________________ **UPDATE** 9 December 2015 The GBSD TMRR Draft Statement of Work (SOW), Draft Weapon System Specification (WSS), and Draft GBSD Security Classification Guide (SCG) are now available. For access to the documents, please follow the instructions on the attached document titled "GBSD SOW, WSS, SCG Access Request." The GBSD TMRR Bidder's Library has now been established. For access to the library, please follow the instructions on the attached document titled "GBSD Bidder's Library Access Request." The GBSD Program Office (PMO) is scheduling an Industry Day 4.0 on 11-12 January 2016. Please follow the instructions on the attached document titled "GBSD Industry Day 4.0 Save the Date." **Please note: The bidder's Library and Industry Day require submission of a JPAS request. See attachment for further information and response instructions. ______________________________________________________ **UPDATE** 9 September 2015 We have modified the allowance of attendees for the upcoming Industry Day 3.0 with the following constraints: Companies will be limited to 5 attendees for the General session, which is the Thursday briefings occurring between 0800 - 1200, and the Analytic/C2 Lab Tour. However, additional number of attendees at the one-on-one sessions with the PM and RS/RV will not be constrained. An updated Draft Capability Development Document (CDD) is now available for review. During the week of the Industry Day 3.0, there will be limited opportunities to review the document. If you are interested in reviewing the document, please contact Jaime Veglia at jaime.veglia.1@us.af.mil. _____________________________________________________ **UPDATE** 3 September 2015 Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) and Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) are sponsoring a GBSD Industry Day at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, 24-25 September 2015. Attached announcement and agenda detail RSVP instructions and schedule. _____________________________________________________ The GBSD Program Management Office (PMO) is scheduling an Industry Day 3.0 for 24 - 25 September 2015 at Hill AFB, UT. The agenda, time and place for Industry Day 3.0 will be forth coming. The GBSD PMO intends to hold a more in depth technical discussion, as well as provide acquisition updates since the last Industry Day 2.0 in February 2015. The Industry Days will include a briefing period, followed by breakout sessions and one-on-one meetings. The RSVP request will accompany the agenda. Please contact the POCs below with any questions. _____________________________________________________ BACKGROUND: The USAF is initiating an acquisition program to replace the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) called Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD). GBSD will replace the entire flight system, retaining the silo basing mode while recapitalizing the ground facilities, and implements a new Weapon System Command and Control (WSC2). A Materiel Development Decision (MDD) Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM) was approved 11 Oct 2013. A resulting Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) was completed in July 2014. The GBSD Program Management Office (PMO) has held two industry days and made the draft Capabilities Development Document (CDD) available to authorized personnel. Access to the CDD is restricted to Hill AFB, UT. The Air Force is refining the proposed acquisition strategy in preparation for a Milestone A decision currently scheduled for 2QFY16. INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT: The GBSD Program Management Office continues to encourage open and frequent communication from industry during the ongoing market research phase. The PMO expects to release another round of RFI questions in August and conduct an Industry Day 3.0 during early September. The schedule and agenda will be posted soon.
