- Draft Statement of Work The Collections Access, Loan and Management Division (CALM) of the Library of Congress is conducting market research for assistance with an inventory management project to review/update and process data contained within the Library of Congress Integrated Library System (LC ILS) or other databases. This includes assigning collections storage locations and ensuring basic data control of items selected for transfer to off-site storage, including but not limited to verifying the integrity of bibliographic, holdings, item and location data and to prepare items selected for transfer off-site. In addition, the correction of errors or some form of preservation treatment may be required. This work may require that the Contractor be assigned to locations within the three Library buildings on Capitol Hill as well as the Library's off-site facilities within the Washington metropolitan area. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine if sufficient interest and capability exists regarding potential future solicitation. This notice is provided as information to the market place and is an invitation for potential offerors to express interest and provide information regarding their relevant capabilities. Information submitted in response to this notice may be used as a basis for a future solicitation and/or as a basis for more in-depth research of an organization's capability. The Library of Congress anticipates awarding a single award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that will permit the issuance of firm fixed-price (FFP) task orders for a base year and four option years. The Library Of Congress seeks capability statements from all sources. Capability Statement Instructions: In response to the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW), SER hereby solicits capability statements from eligible contractors. These statements shall be no longer than 2 pages (single-spaced, with a minimum of 1 inch margins and 12 point font). Interested parties having the capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements may submit capability statements via the FBO website and shall include the following information: 1) Company Name, Address, and DUNS Number; 2) Company Point of Contact, phone number and email address; 3) Corporate structure (corporation, LLC, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, professional corporation, etc.); and 4) References, including name, phone number and email address of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities identified in the responses This is not an invitation for bid or request for proposal or other solicitation and in no way obligates the Library of Congress to award a contract. The Sources Sought notice is part of the LOC's Vendor Communication plan and the sole intent is to obtain capabilities for set-aside and procurement planning purposes.
