Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, VA248-16-Q-0392 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85 effective January 4, 2016 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation Supplement (VAAR). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334112. Size Standard: 1000 Employees. The Contracting Office shall evaluate quotes from service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) only. List of contract line item numbers (CLIN), items, quantities, units of measure and description of requirements listed below. NOTE: Firms offering equal products must submit sufficient descriptive literature to permit an assessment as to whether the equal product meets all the salient characteristics specified in this solicitation. When the descriptive literature submitted fails to establish that the offered products would meet all of the listed salient characteristics, the response to the solicitation will be rejected. Brand name or equal purchase descriptions must include a general description of those salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award. The agency is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in a response to the solicitation.
