Redacted Brand Name Justification Clauses 1449 Page THIS RFQ IS 100% RESERVED FOR SMALL BUSINESS. Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region, Folsom, CA Office has a requirement for Lumentum Transponders and other equipment in accordance with the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) DE-SOL-0009353. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. A fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures. A fixed price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industrial Code (NAICS) is 335999 and the business size standard is 500 employees. Vendors submitting responses must be registered in the www.SAM.gov before an award can be made to them. If vendor(s) are not registered in SAM, they may do so through the SAM website at: www.sam.gov.
