Description

The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the VA Medical Center in Salem, VA to interested sources to provide the following line items: ITEM # 1 Small Piece Folder: Furnish and install one (1) each Small Piece Folder with color touch screen controls & information systems" that incorporate automatic/manual machine operation, self-testing, fault display and built-in diagnostics. ITEM # 2 Folder Cross Folder: Furnish and install one (2) each - Four lane primary and three cross fold combination folder-cross-folder. ITEM # 3 Ambient Air Filtration System: Furnish and install one (2) each ambient air lint filters on the clean side of the laundry. ITEM # 4 Soil Storage/Sorting Conveyor System: Furnish and install one (1) each soiled/sorting system. The complete soil sorting conveyor system shall be of such material and construction, and so designed, to withstand daily wash-down and disinfecting of all soiled textile contact surfaces, with electrical 208 volts, 60 hertz, 1 phase. This equipment is to be installed at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Salem, VA. This procurement will be advertised as a Small Business Set-Aside.
