Description

VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) contracting office anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price construction contract for the Dallas VA Herzog Campus Window/Panel Replacement Project. This project number is 549-15-518 and is located at the VA Herzog Campus, 4900 South Lancaster Road, Dallas TX 75216. The contractor is responsible for, but not limited to, furnish all labor, tools and materials, equipment and supervision to remove all the existing panels and replace panels at the Herzog Campus located at 4900 South Lancaster Road, Dallas TX 75216. The new panels shall be aluminum, double hung, "Low E" coating to reject heat, double glazed, argon filled between glazing, fixed panels, to include silicone and/or caulk. The period of performance is 240 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The method of procurement shall be an Invitation For Bid (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14 and 36. Issue date will be on or about February 1, 2016. Bid due date will be on or about March 4, 2016. This procurement is a 100% Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127). The NAICS code is 236220, with business size standard at $33.5 Mil. Probable Cost Range : $500,000 - $1,000,000.
