Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS code is 334519 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Government intends to award a Firm, Fixed-Price contract to the successful offeror. The 121st Community Support Hospital, Camp Red Cloud, Camp Humphreys, Camp Walker, Camp Casey, Area II Health Clinic, K16 Aid Station and Camp Stanley, Korea has a requirement for a Rees Temperature Monitoring System, specifically the Enterprise Centron-SW monitor that will send an alert when temperature sensitive medical products are not stored within the appropriate temperature range. The system must simultaneously provide hard-wired and wireless functionality in refrigeration monitoring due to remote locations across theater that has limited wireless capability. The system consists of one (1) Enterprise Centron-SW monitor featuring the Presidio Verion 3.0 software, to include additional node license, 4-line network dialer, V2-NET network devices, networked V2 modules, V2 Direct Sequence spread spectrum universal wireless transmitters, Types 2, 3, and 4 temperature probes, Rees Scientific Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum wireless temperature transmitter, temperature control blocks, floor plans, diagram/shop drawings, validation kit, wall transformers and lithium batteries, installation and warranty. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing no later than 25 January 2016. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Vendors are invited to submit information demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Donna Tomita, Contract Specialist, Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific; email donna.f.tomita.civ@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 25 January 2016 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time.
